FAMILY WEEK at OMEGA INSTITUTE!
Join Laura Bellmont for a week of hands-on,
stop-motion animation and art-making fun. Students in this integrated tech-and-art workshop imagine unique adventure stories and bring them to life using the beloved filmmaking technique of stop-motion animation. Young filmmakers will design and build sets and characters using a variety of art materials and methods, and learn camera basics to do their own filming. Campers will shoot their films using professional grade software "DragonFrame".

We culminate our week with a world premiere screening for the Omega community and hear from the directors during a question-and-answer session.
​
The finished collaborative film is shared via a password-protected online link, which may be used to view, post, and share the film with friends and family.

One of our favorite offerings is our mobile, private lesson programming. We also offer private lessons in our studio, located in Upstate, NY.

Each lesson is fully customized for every client and can be shaped around a theme, learning objective or cross-curricular in-school assignment.

We bring all of the materials and equipment to each lesson in order to create stop motion animation magic with partners all over the
NY Metro area.
